Know what is fully adhered
We evaluate whether the floor is floating, perimeter-glued, or fully adhered. That distinction affects labor, equipment, disposal, and how much adhesive work remains after the surface comes up.
Adhesive removal by requirement
Some replacement systems tolerate a skim-coated substrate; others require more aggressive removal. We coordinate with the installer or specified flooring system before setting the prep target.

Do you remove floating LVP?
Yes. Floating products are typically simpler than fully adhered floors, but transitions, base details, disposal volume, and the condition underneath still need to be evaluated.
Can you remove black or unknown adhesive?
Unknown materials should be identified before they are mechanically disturbed. If testing is warranted, we pause and coordinate the appropriate next step rather than guessing.
